The Ongoing Problem of Child Abuse
My book talks a lot about child abuse, an issue which continues to be a severe problem, especially in America. I was particularly moved by a recent article I read, which among other excellent points, mentions the Rights of the Child, as I did in my book, and how the US, unlike so many other countries, has failed to ratify it. The reasons for this remain a mystery. The article is entitled Why America Hates Its Children. I would encourage you to check it out. Education on the proper treatment of children is critical if we are ever to get ahead of the curve on depression and anxiety.
